I’m here for you.

Have you ever struggled with knowing where your true creative VOICE is? Or wrestled with the FEAR in creating and sharing your work? Or maybe the feeling of being lost, not knowing what your professional PURPOSE is?

Been there…like you, I want to fully express my creative vision with complete freedom. Yeah, it takes work and a bit of courage, IF you don’t know how to overcome the things holding you back.

But it can be done.

THAT’s why I teach.

I have always been a teacher. I started at the School of Visual Arts in NYC teaching graphic design. My assignments were not about color and typography or the pleasant arrangement of shapes on a page, but were designed to force you think. I quickly realized that I wasn’t teaching graphic design, I was teaching people how to look inside for their answers. How to think. How to develop their own voice and opinion and put that into their work.

I teach creativity.

I don’t teach tools and techniques…not really. I teach people how to find and develop their creative Voice.

What do you achieve by finding your Voice and putting it out into the world? What’s the marker of success? Well, you get to be…YOU. Creatively, unashamedly, confidently…YOU.

We all need mentors at the right times in our lives, and if this is the point where you truly commit to excelling in owning your Voice, your career — heck your LIFE — then I’m here for you.

“I don’t think there’s a point in my life that I’ve ever decided not to take a risk. For better or worse, safety and comfort don’t interest me. To me, risk means feeling and being alive.”

The Bio

James Victore is the creative thought leader guiding people to find clarity and purpose in their life and work.

Described as “part Darth Vader, part Yoda,” James is renowned for his provocative style as a graphic designer, art educator and dynamic, in-demand speaker on creativity. He lectures and teaches regularly around the globe, inspiring people to illuminate their individual gifts in order to achieve personal greatness and make a living doing what they love.

Raised in upstate New York, James moved to New York City when he was 19 years old. By age 23, after dropping out of two different colleges, he became an apprentice to noted designer Paul Bacon. It was with Bacon that Victore found his voice as a designer and began to take charge of his own education and career.

As well as founding his own design studio, James spent many years teaching at the School of Visual Arts in New York City. He now lives, loves, and works in small town Texas, continuing to pursue new ways to help and inspire others to free themselves creatively and live boldly through their own Voice.

James’ book, “Feck Perfuction: Dangerous Ideas on the Business of Life” (Chronicle) will change your life. The follow-up book will be out in 2023.
